Week 8 - Home Valley – two night stay

Penticost River
Camping at Home Valley

Dingo

Home Valley Pool

This is a working cattle station owned by the Indigenous Land Corporation. There is an extensive training facility in hospitality and the pastoral industry. Cultural and business activities are all managed by the traditional owners. It is a very resort style place. We even camped on green grass for the first time!

Chilled out by the pool today and did some washing! Ate well and relaxed, we did a lot of swimming! At dusk we went for a quick trip out to see the Penticost River with the majestic Cockburn range as a backdrop. Saw a very scrany Dingo. Spectacular scenery, we even saw a wild dingo which did not worry Sarah as she was fast asleep on Lucy’s lap.
