Bitter Springs - Mataranka N.T
After packing up at Edith Falls we dashed in for a swim at the springs in Mataranka. I liked Homestead springs but still wanted to revisit Bitter Springs again. While swimming down the creek at Bitter springs, we met a man who had spotted a long neck tortoise. We all saw two more and then we gave him a lend of our goggles. He caught a tortoise and let the kids have a hold too! Wonderful! Stayed the night at Daly Waters pub – camping ground with a great bar and restaurant!
