Lucy's new friends in the pool

Again we decorated the tent with toilet paper. Lucy woke up and took calls from all over the country. The biggest birthday present was a new 1st cousin born today - Polly Rose. Congratulations James family. You picked a good day!

We then went up to collect the canoes for our paddle up Kathrine Gorge. This gorge is so huge! We saw aboriginal art under the rock over hangs that we paddled under. There were also tiny bats in a cave that we paddled into. Lucy and the girls threw their new hand-reel lines into the water to try and catch a fish (they didn’t have any bait). We got such a shock when Lucy caught a fish – a black bream. She let it go! What a lucky girl on her birthday.
